About Wall of Fame
Wall of Fame is a permanent and ever-growing exhibition at Fotografiska, created by Knut Koivisto. Since its inception, over 130 photographers have been portrayed – including Anton Corbijn, Sarah Moon, Inez & Vinoodh, Martin Parr, and Jesper Waldersten. Each new portrait adds to a living body of work that captures both the era and the essence of the person behind the camera.
"‘The Wall’ is my greatest work, and I’m proud that it’s already part of photographic history. But every time I photograph a new icon, I ask myself: Who am I to do this? How do I create a portrait that honors them and still fits into the visual universe of the Wall of Fame?"
