PLAN YOUR VISIT
Fotografiska is housed in Stockholm’s Royal Customs House (“Kungl. Tullhuset”) at Stadsgårdshamnen 22. Google Maps can sometimes send you the wrong way! Take the temporary steps down from Slussen and follow the footpath along the waterfront.
(NB: The Söderberg steps are no longer in operation. If you are coming from Katarinavägen, please go either via Slussen or take Folkungagatan to the waterfront.)
BY SL PUBLIC TRANSPORT & ON FOOT
Take the metro (Red or Green Line) to Slussen or the bus to Södermalmstorg. Then take the temporary steps down from Slussen and follow the footpath for a pleasant 500m walk beside the water.
Since August 19, there is a new temporary bus terminal between Fotografiska and Stadsgårdsterminalen, for buses to and from Nacka and Värmdö.
BY BOAT
The Red Sightseeing Hop-On Hop-Off boat also stops at our dock. For time schedule and details please visit Red Sightseeing's website.
BY CAR
Unfortunately, there is no paid parking at Fotografiska at the moment.
BY BICYCLE & ELECTRIC SCOOTER
There are good cycle paths that lead directly to us. We have plenty of cycle racks right outside the entrance.
ACCESSIBILITY
We’re all about inclusion and want to contribute to a great experience for everyone.
- A slightly steeper ramp for push chairs is built into the staircase outside our main entrance.Beside the long side of the building facing the water there is a ramp for people with functional variation.
- In our two stairwells, the lifts go to every floor.
- Toilets for disabled persons and with changing tables are available on level -1 as well as by the café on level 2.
- Storage lockers can be found on level -1.
- On level -1 there is parking for push chairs. It is also possible to take push chairs into the exhibitions.
- At the moment there is no car parking in the immediate vicinity of Fotografiska unfortunately, due to the renovations being carried out in the area by the City of Stockholm. Please use alternative means of transportation.
- Unfortunately, we need to limit our inclusion and not allow dogs as other visitors may be allergic. However, for those in need of a guide or assistance dog, you are obviously allowed to bring in your four-legged friend.
