Welcome to the opening day of the new exhibition White Nights in Wonderland and Artist Talk with Chinese photographer Feng Li! The talk is moderated by Felicia Gränd, Communicator at SFF.

The exhibition shows both the artist’s most iconic works and never-before exhibited photographs, always with a unique sarcasm and using modern cities as his backdrop. With his visual language and an ever-present ironic undertone, the Chinese photographer Feng Li has become one of China’s brightest stars within contemporary photography. The exhibition White Nights in Wonderland shows around 200 works from the most recent 20 years of his career.

Feng Li’s unique visual approach has led to international renown within everything from street photography to fashion, from Paris to Tokyo and from Shanghai to his hometown of Chengdu. Using the modern cityscape as his backdrop, he captures the enigmatic and fleeting moments of daily life while highlighting their absurdities. His lens lets us experience the fast-paced development of modern China, often with surrealistic and subtle details.
