A heart-to-heart conversation with special guests in connection to "Space - A Visual Journey”
Curator and moderator Charlotte Manning invites Fotografiska’s SPACE- represented visual artist Cecilia Ömalm, philosophy writer Christer Sturmark, and Interior designer/color specialist Sara Garanty to the Studio for a heart-to-heart conversation called "Human-to-Human"- an open-ended and multi-perspective panel conversation on how we define the spaces we exist in and what it means to be human in today’s world.
About panelists
Cecilia Ömalm - Visual Artist
As one of thirteen artists taking part in the SPACE: A Visual Journey exhibition, Cecilia Ömalm (and Göran Östlin) create a specific sense of “spatial” art, exploring architecture and spatiality using science and history as a basis for their inspiration. Cecilia will offer insight on how being an artist and partaking in the Fotografiska SPACE exhibition has allowed her to consider place and respond to the complex idea of spatiality, time, and dimension.
Christer Sturmark: Philosophy Writer & Publisher
Christer is the CEO and publisher at Fri Tanke Publishing House, an arena for science, culture, philosophy and ideas, striving to elevate and popularize science and contemporary issues with the aim of increasing knowledge about reality ourselves. Christer will offer insight on how being a moderator and writer on philosophical subjects has expanded his worldview.
Sara Garanty: Interior Designer & Color Specialist
Sara is an artist, interior designer and color specialist, blending the psychology and philosophy of color with spatial harmony to create environments that inspire and nurture well-being. With expertise in color theory, neuroaesthetics, and the deeper meanings behind color, she highlights how color influences both our emotions and philosophical outlook, offering a holistic approach to interior design that enhances how we experience space.
