Since 1974, Afrikagrupperna have been fighting for justice and standing up in solidarity for the people in Southern Africa. As part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, we invite you to an exclusive photo installation by the Rural Women's Assembly (RWA), a seminar with - among others - Fotografiska's planetary keeper Martin Wall, live music and mingle.
A warm welcome to an evening of "Reclaiming the Seeds" in solidarity with the women of southern Africa!


Program:


17.30: Opening by Afrikagrupperna

17.40: Conversation with RWA Regional Coordinator Mercia Andrews. Focus: "Women: Guardians of Seed, Water and Land.", seed rights and the criminalization of local seeds in Southern Africa.

18.10: Q&A seminar: "Say NO to food waste" and "Support local farmers." Listen to a panel discussion on the importance of supporting local farmers and reducing food waste.
Tonight's panelists: Martin Wall, (Fotografiska's chef for the "zerowaste" project), Elin Rydström (Swedish organic farmer), more to come.

19.00: Enjoy live music, spoken word poetry and more!
