Frequently asked questions & answers about our memberships
How do I book free tickets as a member?
For admission to Fotografiska and the exhibitions, use your physical membership card or scan your Apple or Google wallet pass linked to your membership. You can download your membership card to your Apple or Google wallet from your membership page. Log in here.
To book a discounted event ticket, start by logging in to your membership page, which you do here. Then click on ‘Get your tickets’ and you will be taken to the ticket booking in logged in mode with access to member prices on event tickets.
Can I upgrade/change my ongoing membership from monthly to yearly?
Unfortunately, no. You can only upgrade membership from one type of monthly or yearly membership to another, for example from Collector Monthly to Companion Monthly, or Collector Yearly to Companion Yearly. You can upgrade by clicking on the "Upgrade" link when logged in on your membership page.
I have a discount code for memberships. How do I use/redeem it?
If you have a discount code for a specific membership, enter it in the payment step under "Add coupon". Click on "Add coupon" and enter the discount code.
Are memberships subscriptions?
Yes, all Fotografiska Familjen memberships are subscriptions paid yearly or monthly. Yearly memberships are valid for 12 months and monthly memberships for 6 months. At the end of the subscription period, the membership is automatically renewed and new payment is automatically deducted according to the payment plan for the current membership.
How to I cancel a subscription/membership?
If you do not wish to renew your membership, click "Stop auto-renew" when you are logged into your account. If you do this before your current membership expires, no payment will be deducted after the end of your membership period. You have 14 days of cancellation from the time the new fee is charged. If you regret your purchase and want to cancel your membership, please contact our member service (members.sto@fotografiska.com) and we will help you.
I want a physical membership card, how do I get one?
Physical membership card can be registered and connected to your membership here on site. Ask our staff at the entrance desk on your next visit!

How do I use my membership discount in shops and restaurants?
To get your membership discount around the house - show your Membership card or Apple/Google wallet pass where your membership type is displayed. Download Apple/Google wallet pass from your membership page, log in here. Membership discounts cannot be credited after purchase.
HOW DO I USE MY MEMBER DISCOUNT IN THE WEBSHOP?
To use your membership discount in the webshop, simply log in with your usual login details at the checkout stage and the discount will be deducted automatically. To the webshop!
I don't see member prices for tickets in the online booking, what should I do?
You need to log in to see member prices. Log in here and then click on ‘Get your tickets’ to access the ticket booking.
I want to give away a membership as a gift, how do I do that?
Buy a gift card which can be redeemed for membership on site. Visit us in person or buy a digital gift card sent by email or text message. Read more here!
I have a gift card and I want to become a member - how do I do it?
Visit us on site to becoma Fotografiska member using gift card. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to accept gift cards for online sign-up via the website.
Normally, our memberships are ongoing subscriptions that run on an annual or monthly basis, but if you pay with a gift card, the membership is only valid for one year. If you want to extend after this, you will be offered to sign up with a payment card linked to your membership.
