Artist Talk with Pierpaolo Ferrari

A colorful, absurd and unforgettable talk at Fotografiska

How to create images that will stay in your mind? What does it take for art to both challenge and entertain? And how to think when nothing is forbidden?

The exhibition ToiletFotoPaperGrafiska is now having its premiere at Fotografiska Stockholm, where the magazine is transformed into a three-dimensional experience. There is no semblance of moderation, refined elegance, or careful consideration. Instead, visitors are immersed in a bizarre maze of art installations, videos, and photographic works. And let’s not forget a pool filled with thousands of fake bananas.

On Saturday, March 8, Pierpaolo Ferrari will take the stage at Fotografiska. He is one of the founders of TOILETPAPER - the visual sensation that challenges the boundaries between art, humor and commercial aesthetics. During this unique evening, he shares his inspiration and his love for the absurd. Moderator for the interview will be Elin Frendberg, Executive Director of Fotografiska Stockholm.

TOILETPAPER is an artistic platform, magazine and studio. Since its inception, it has captivated the world with its colorful, unexpected and humorous images. It is a visual playground founded in 2010 by photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari and artist Maurizio Cattelan. TOILETPAPER started as an image magazine without text but has since grown into an artistic universe that spans fashion, design and advertising.

Don't miss this unique evening where Pierpaolo will share his creative process and the art of pushing norms.
