Discover the magic behind Erik Johansson’s surreal photography. On December 21, he invites you to an exclusive artist talk at Fotografiska, offering a rare behind-the-scenes look at how his imaginative worlds come to life, from the first spark of an idea to the final, meticulously crafted image.

During the evening, Erik will unpack his work “Full Moon Service,” currently on view in our exhibition. You'll follow the entire process: how scenes are constructed, the technical challenges, the creative decisions, and why titles, casting, and subtle details shape the emotional impact of each piece.

As a special treat, Erik will also share projects that have never been shown publicly, exclusively for Fotografiska’s audience. After the talk, the evening continues with a book signing, perfect if you're still searching for a meaningful and personal holiday gift.
