Exhibition Deep Dive: Marco Brambilla

An exhibition in focus – from detail to depth through guided perspectives. Includes museum admission.

A kaleidoscopic and surreal digital collage divided into three horizontal sections. Each section is densely packed with iconic figures, buildings, and symbols from pop culture, politics, and history, assembled into a dreamlike, symmetrical composition. The top features a celestial sky with floating figures, carnival scenes, and neon signs. The middle section is dominated by waterfalls, Mount Rushmore, pyramids, and fireworks in a festive, utopian setting. The bottom resembles a futuristic laboratory or control room with green hues, women in white dresses, and repeating patterns of people and structures. The entire artwork is rich in detail, vividly colorful, and mirror-balanced, evoking a mythological and almost apocalyptic atmosphere.

Please note: the session will be held in Swedish.

Join guide Karim Ajaj for a focused encounter with selected works from Double Feature by Marco Brambilla – enriched by personal interpretations and stories behind the images.

Through a slideshow, an interactive segment, and a thematic deep dive, we’ll explore the borderlands between photography and film, as well as core themes like memory, the body, and the gaze.

The audience is invited to reflect and take part in the conversation.

This ticket also includes access to all the other exhibitions which you are free to explore as well, before and after the talk. Free for members, no booking needed!
