Finissage: Amanda Gylling

Finissage with Amanda Gylling & Mosquito at Fotografiska

header

Welcome to a finissage with Amanda Gylling, one of the artists featured in the exhibition Meanwhile at Fotografiska. During the evening, meet the artist in the exhibition space, with opportunities for conversation and mingling among the works.

Amanda Gylling (b. 1993) is a photographer and director with a background in dance. Her practice moves between magical realism and documentary photography, where form, movement, and contrast come together to create a cohesive visual language. The works in Meanwhile span several projects from the past eight years, forming a visual puzzle in which meaning emerges through the interplay between images.

The finissage continues one floor up with Mosquito. Erica and Thomas Gylling play curated club music influenced by the Caribbean, Africa, and Latin America. The music program is part of the overall experience, extending the evening beyond the exhibition space.

The finissage takes place in connection with the ongoing exhibition Meanwhile.
