Pride Film Club: A Fantastic Woman
The third and final part of our exclusive film series during Pride Week
Kick off Pride Week with us! In collaboration with Filmklubben, we present an exclusive film series curated by Jonas Pedersen Hardebrant. Over three nights, we showcase three internationally acclaimed films that use the power of cinema to explore identity, love, and belonging.
Tonight's screening is Sebastián Lelio’s Oscar-winning masterpiece A Fantastic Woman. Following the sudden passing of her partner, Marina, a transgender woman, is forced not only to navigate her profound grief, but also to face the prejudices and exclusion of society. Crafted with immense sensitivity, the film portrays resilience, dignity, and the right to be oneself, rightfully becoming one of the most significant works of contemporary queer cinema.
Your ticket includes admission to Fotografiska for the entire day, so feel free to arrive early to explore our current exhibitions or enjoy dinner in the bistro before the screening.
The screening takes place in Ellen, our unique event space on the ground floor, which we are opening up specially for this evening. Please note that entry is via Fotografiska's separate event entrance.
