TCK TALKS – Kim Demåne and Bonesoda
Fotografiska and Third Culture Kids presents TCK Talks: a series of interactive talks by artists from Sweden, all of whom identify as Third Culture Kids.
The last in the TCK Talks series at Fotografiska will be an in-person conversation with imaginative artist Kim Demåne whose artworks decorate walls all over the world.
This conversation explores the blending world of surrealism, fantasy, and nature-inspired elements of Kim aka Delicious Brain, both as a human being and as an artist. Kim´s art frequently explores themes of growth, transformation, and the relationship between humanity and the natural world, using vibrant colors and bold shapes to evoke a sense of movement and emotion.
The event will also feature a dj performance by the multidisciplinary UK project "Bonesoda", here represented by Truce, "Bonesoda" is known for its bold designs and rebellious ethos. The brand is deeply rooted in the DIY spirit, emphasizing collaboration and self-expression, while drawing inspiration from urban culture and the vibrant energy of London’s street scene.
