Artist Talk: Joakim Möller
A conversation with Joakim Möller on his artistic practice and the creative process behind Time isn't holding us.
Stockholm-based photographer Joakim Möller has established himself as one of the most compelling emerging voices in contemporary photography. Currently presenting his first solo exhibition at Fotografiska, Time isn't holding us, and featured in Fotografiska's outdoor installation Water & Light during the Stockholm Culture Festival, Möller creates black-and-white fine art photographs in which light, shadow and the spaces between the city's architecture are transformed into poetic compositions through his distinctive visual language.
In this Artist Talk, Möller reflects on his artistic practice and his way of observing and portraying the surreal qualities of everyday life. Following the conversation, there will be an opportunity to have his newly released photobook, Time isn't holding us, signed. The conversation will be moderated by Karim Ajaj, Head of Guides and Experience Coordinator at Fotografiska.
Time isn't holding us is part of Fotografiska's Emerging Artists initiative, which highlights a new generation of photographers with distinctive visual voices.
